GlobalSportFish is the new way of watching live fishing action.  It's now all possible by using the latest mobile technoliges and internet tools.  Yes, you can get to see your friends out there fishing while you are sitting at the office.

Alternatively they may be sitting out there (or was that bracing themselves) in 6 meter seas with 40 knots blowing and you're sitting back in the warmth of your home with nice drink in hand.  Still when they are landing a nice fish we all know where we would rather be!

The first big event for GSF was the Bay of Islands Yellowtail Kingfish competition in June 2011.  This was a great event with around 30 boats and four of them were being livestreamed.  The bit that probably topped it off was the end of day weigh-in.  This was also streamed live - with commentary.

In August-September 2011 GSF has the pleasure of live stremaing parts of the Fishing Coast to Coast circumnavigation of the South Island so keep watching and you you'll get to enjoy some great scenery and hopefully Michael Rendle can land a nice Blue Marlin.
